Dr. Teed is a highly skilled Pediatric Ophthalmologist with years of experience in treating eye conditions in children. He is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his young patients and their families.

Dr. Katherine Wood
Dr. Wood is a highly skilled physician trained in comprehensive and pediatric ophthalmology. She loves working with children and is dedicated to providing excellent, evidence-based care for all children, as well as adults with eye muscle disorders.
Practice Administrator
Tanya Kizer
Tanya has been in Ophthalmology for almost 15 years. She started her career as an administrative assistant in a retina practice before joining Children’s Eye Specialists in 2015. She is in charge of the day-to-day front office functions. In her free time, Tanya loves going out on the boat, riding the side-by-side with friends and family. She loves to cook, and spend time with her loved ones.
Director of Clinical Operations and Certified Ophthalmic Technician
Topher Dugan, COT
Topher has been in Ophthalmology for over 22 years. He has been a Certified Ophthalmic Technician since 2007. Topher has worked in private practices as well as MUSC before joining Children’s Eye Specialists in 2016. Topher is a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, and also is the Clinical Director, as well as the Surgical Coordinator. In his free time, He enjoys cooking, writing, listening to vinyl records and spending time with his husband and their 2 dogs; Willow and Ember.
Medical Office Assistant
Kelly
Kelly has been with the practice since 2021. Kelly manages the front desk and our referrals. She is also the first person you meet when you come into the office. Kelly is a licensed cosmetologist. She loves all things Taylor Swift. She is a proud dog Mom to her adorable Boykin Spaniel, Maggie. Her favorite foods are pasta and cookies. She loves being outdoors and boating.
Ophthalmic Assistant
Kyla
Kyla has been with us since August 2023. She loves being able to help our patients and enjoys working with kids. Her favorite part of working at Children’s Eye Specialists is striving to provide the best patient care. Kyla is currently working on obtaining her certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. When she’s not seeing patients, she enjoys going out on the boat, shopping and playing with her black lab, Beretta.
Ophthalmic Assistant
Morgan
Morgan started her career working in optometry in 2020. She then became an Ophthalmic Assistant and worked at Storm Eye before joining our practice in January 2023. Her favorite part of working here is working with and helping the little kids. Morgan is studying to obtain her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification. In her free time, Morgan likes boating, hunting, shopping, playing with her Boykin Spaniels, Cali and Scout, and spending time with her husband.
